Istas Garden

We had wonderful 5 nights at this site which well deserves 5 stars. From the warm friendly greeting to the cheery goodbye it is well thought out and a complete caravanning experience. Booking in advance is a must. Thank you to you all at Istas Gardens.

One of the most complete, personal, friendly and cosy campsite we ever visited. We were greated with a glass of rose wine and a glass of white wine when we arrived. The owners, Pedro and Claudia, also have a wine or portwine tasting in the bbq area twice a week. I think you can find everything you need here: There is a fully equipped kitchen, (including a washing machine) that you use free of charge). The swimming pool is heated and lovely to use after a day out. The bbq area, complete with firewood, is also for everyone to use. Everything is clean, practical and tastefully decorated. It's a small place, only 10 pitches. Situated in a quiet urban area with walking distance to the beach. Porto City Centre is easy to reach with an Uber or the shuttle service the campsite offers. The price was a bit higher than other campsites we visited, 50 euro/night, but you get value for your money. We would have liked to stay longer, but unfortunately, it was fully booked, which I understand is often the case, so (...)

Loved our four night stay at Istas Gardens. Perfectly situated for a cycle path along the sea into Porto. Great recommendations and helpful hints from Ines( manager) and owners Claudia and Pedro. Facilities are excellent and spotless. Wine tasting with local produce a lovely extra and a nice opportunity to meet others. Highly recommend.
