Bellahøj Camping

Asked per E-Mail if we can stay there for the weekend. They confirmed it. When we arrived there was a marked/funfair with carrousells and music and stuff. The security guards told us there is no camping place anymore until next spring and that we can not park here. The phone from the bellahøj camping was not working. We drove 1400km and then had no place to go! And it was the middle of the night! The security guy felt so sorry for us that we kind of were stranded that he allowed us to stay for the rest of the night. So we parked behind toilets and had to leave early in the morning.

Great for visiting copenhagen, toilets and showers were small but usable. We had a huge rainstorm when we were there and my tent nrealy couldnt resist but all the grass did not turn into mud or anything like that, surprisingly enough.

During my stay at Bellahøj Camping in Denmark, I found the experience to be generally positive. The lack of ID checks upon entry raised a concern, although I was reassured by the person in charge that there had been no issues in the past. The staff was friendly and accommodating, which added to the overall positive vibe. However, the atmosphere left something to be desired due to the presence of surrounding buildings, making it feel less like a traditional camping site. The bathrooms were on the smaller side, and the overall facilities were somewhat limited compared to other camping sites I've visited. While I did enjoy my time there, considering all these factors, I would rate Bellahøj Camping a three out of five. Another noteworthy aspect of Bellahøj Camping is their policy of not allowing entry after 10 PM, which I found to be a significant drawback.
