Camping des Iles

Very friendly staff, good organisation, a charming and cosy camp site. The missing star refers to the location. It is scenery is stunning and the nearby coastlines and beaches are picturesque, but: not for everyone. How much nicer could it be, if much of the area wasn't occupied by people with much more money than you have. To get to the nice places, you have to walk around the villas (you are not allowed to pass), past the yacht bay and a golf course (?) on the coast. Consequently, it is just not great for families with smaller kids. A little more governmental intervention to make the place more accessible to everyone by a few well placed public pathways would help a lot.

Great camp with new facilities and swimming pool. Lots of shade! Camp in general is perfect, but 1km away from the beach (on the hill). Perfect location to visit Bonifacio or beaches around.

Compared to other campings on Corsica’s west coast, we really enjoyed this one. In the west section there are plenty of trees projecting a lot of shade. This make this camping ideal even in the hot summer months. Nice swimming pool and bar area. Toilets and showers are more or less clean. Paid wifi is available in the whole camping area (27 EUR for 7 days). The camping sits in a strategic location south from Bonifacio and three minutes away by car from Piantarella, in the middle of the green macchia mediterranea. Only disappointment was the restaurant where wasn’t possible to order pizza at the restaurant after 8pm… “we have too many orders come back at 21:30”.
