Camping Sole

Not recommended at all. This was the worst welcome ever (having more than 30 year camping experience in Italy). We found an respectless, arrogant and "looking-down-behaved" owner. If you wanna be treated like a dumb schoolar before saying "hi", this may be the right place for you. We didn't check in and left immediately because of this bad vibes.

We stayed here for almost two weeks in the peak of summer '23, and it simply was a wonderful experience. We had a very warm welcome with loads of great tips for visits in the area. The location is a dream with view of the sea, the plots are spacious, the pool was godsent on hot days & the amenities are plenty and very hygienic. It was easy to get uphill and pass the bridge with only a small car, so I would definitely tell you to keep that in mind when planning a visit here. The walks down- and uphill to town were a workout, but when you get a view and town as lovely as reward, it makes it all worthwhile. Thank you for having us, we had a brilliant time!

Upon our arrival at Camping Sole in Varazze, we were warmly greeted by the receptionist, who took the time to thoroughly explain the layout and amenities of the site. This was a refreshing experience contrary to some reviews mentioning a rude reception. Our advice would be to avoid lots 1-7 due to proximity to highway noise; however, the other lots provided a peaceful retreat. The campsite is meticulously maintained, and the sanitation standards are top-notch, especially the bathrooms which remained clean even during peak hours. The breakfast service provided was commendable with a variety of options to choose from, kick-starting our days on a positive note. Situated just a short stroll from the sea, the location of Camping Sole is indeed enviable. With its well-marked pitches for campers, caravans, and tents, along with essential utilities, it’s a camper’s haven. The ocean view available at the site added a tranquil touch to our stay.
