La Fontaine des Clercs

Great Little camping area, obviously French hosts, bit of a language barrier but very helpful and lovely spot by the picturesque river. Would highly recommend if in the area. Lovely little town with great restaurants.

Lovely campsite on edge of a great town with history, bars and restaurants! Ramparts surround the ‘haute ville’; great for a stroll with the dog. Site’s facilities are clean, great showers with lots of hot water. No plug near a mirror ladies. No loo paper provided (as seems to be the norm in France now). Warm welcome (though I guess could have helped more with local knowledge and didn’t tell us they have WiFi; minor point as google is all you need really) Highly recommended.

Once again, a lovely quiet and convenient site on our way back to the tunnel. Some pitches are flooded at the moment in common with much of northern France. Still plenty of room for overnighting motorhomes though.
