Bunken Strand Camping

Absolutely stunning place. Clean toilets and theres a calm atmosphere. Best place if you want to travel to the bustling city of Skagen, but wants the tranquility that comes with the calm nature of the sea

A great camping spot, which has all that you want and need. The store/kiosk is also well stocked. However, please give the older gentleman who operates the fast food section of your kiosk a stern warning that a smile, and a service minded tone of voice helps a long way with keeping the guest feel welcome. We ordered burgers and fries. When those were delivered I didn't see any ketchup on or with my fries (the small plastic cup with ketchup was buried in fries) - so I did what anyone would do - reach for the ketchup bottle behind the glass by the counter - while doing so I got a stern warning with a elevated voice telling me that there were "no self serving here" him clearly being visibly irritated and pointing his finger at me, even tho there were no clear signs or information of that sort. Please put up signs, because I don't wish anyone that stern and frankly hideous behaviour from your employee upon any guests visiting your premises. Not service minded behaviour.

Best camping of our holiday tour through Denmark & Germany. The camping spots were indicated very well with a lot of space between you and your neighbours. We had a tent without electricity, but were able to put the car also on the camping spot. The spot was amazing: straight behind a dune and near a path to the beach. The sanitation was good and will probably be even better after next years renovation. The shower was hot and didn’t stop after 3 min (our experience with other campings). The owners are very nice! We had a horrible stormy evening (loooots of rain and thunder). Our tent was drifting in water and we couldn’t sleep there anymore. The owners offered us rescue by giving us the option to stay the night in an old camper. Thank you again!! Everything is in order. Only thing we were missing were a laundry room and a freezer (luxury items of course). We will definitely come back 😉
