Castro Verde Camping

May 3rd 2024: camping= dogWC This morning a lady went with her medium sized dog to the area for tents. The dog made his business into the grass, near a blue tent down there. I asked the lady, if its now up to us to clean up. In English and as she told me in French that she doesn't understand, I asked again in French. She had forgotten the bag - in the camping! Lateron her partner came and searched but didn't find the place. For us below any standard! 2 hours later another person came with the dog to the tent area - you have to see that to believe it.

We spent there 2 nights with our motorhome. Nice location near the center but the toilets, WC and showers need a bit uppdating. Helpful people working in the reception.

A short walk into Castro Verde town campsite is quite full and a few look like long termers the young lady at reception was very friendly and spoke English, the showers and toilets look very clean but we have our own facilities onboard. Seems quite at night. We pardon €10.50 inc electric 2 people one night large 8.6 mtr Motorhome.
