The 'Domaine de la Sablière' (naturist campsite) faces fully south and enjoys an exceptional climate. This 62-hectare natural park overlooking the gorges at Cèze and is an ideal location to enjoy Nature full of sun, smells and laziness. Theme-based evening entertainment, French musette dancing, cabaret, dancing for all tastes, classical music, puppet shows, magicians, karaoke, circus, star-gazing, board game tournaments, on the 14th July and 15th August costume balls (open theme) and audiovisual projections. Also, in July and August: Tai-Chi, keep-fit sports, ‘soft’ gym, Aqua gym, water games, beginners’ archery, family walks, sports meetings (volleyball, tennis, petanque, ping-pong and badminton) fishing in the Cèze (with fishing permit). You can also do (in July and August): Children’s and adults manual workshops, pottery, ceramics, painting on silk for over 14 year olds, bookbinding workshops, mosaic, Mini-club (from 4 years old) and Junior and Teenager clubs. From the Domain you have a splendid view over the Gorges of the Cèze and it offers you a 180° wooded horizons without any civilization trail ! Nothing less than sunny green hills with the Cevennes at the background In the surrounding, you can visit Nîmes, this sun-baked town, is a soft-spoken friendly host, having kept its Mediterranean lifestyle fully intact. The famous Pont du Gard, Uzes, the Ceze Valley and the lovely and traditional markets… By road : on the A7 motorway, take the Bollène exit, head for Pont St-Esprit, and then take the 901 Départementale road towards Barjac, 5 Km before getting to Barjac, take the CD266 St-Privat de Champclos and follow the signs to the Sablière. By train : Avignon railway station then change at the bus station for Barjac (contact : 04.90.82.07.35) By plane : Airports at Nîmes (90 Km) or Marseille (150 Km)
