Durham Park & Ride Belmont

Belmont P and R is conveniently located with lots of space. The site building is clean with toilets and a very helpful worker. Buses accept National Concessionary Travel Passes. Journeying into the centre of Durham is quick and the drop off point of Milburngate Bridge is near all the interesting places. The return bus goes frequently (every 15’) from Stand B just across the other side of the bridge. All in all, well done Durham.

I have used the park and ride for the first time for the past 2 or 3 weeks due to working in Durham temporarily. The drivers are the best I have ever met, if they see you getting out of the car they will wait for you, always friendly and chatty. At £2 a day it is very cheap and quick and easy. Well done to all the staff, after a few days the staff ant the terminal asked if we were going to be regulars and told us about getting a discount card! Excellent!

Very rude driver from Durham to Belmont. Driver no 0372. After asking if the bus was for Belmont he snapped that it said so on the front. He was then very rude to me while I used the contactless pay system then proceeded to argue that he wasn't rude when informed he was. Next time I'll bring the car.
