Holiday park Seehof offers a quiet campsite directly on Lake Schwerin with good connections to Schwerin, Wismar, and the Baltic Sea. Campers can arrive without registration until 22:00 and choose pitches on the square (including electricity) or in front of the barrier (without electricity). There is a small shop with bread service, and campers have the option of renting a car or taking a direct bus connection to the city. The park also features a large creative center with free children's entertainment and allows dogs with a required leash. Boat moorings are available for day guests, but the park does not cater to group receptions.

Toilet/sanitary are in good condition, unfortunately those we closed until further notice at some point due to a defect (both of them), which can happen of course, but having no water was pretty bleak especially since the problem was only solved at 2am (starting at around 7pm). On the field that we camped there were construction works with large machinery driving around and creating quite a lot of dirt and noise which feels a bit out of place during the busy summer season. All in all, an ok camping experience that’s probably a lot better if you visit by camper or caravan, as that gives you a nice undisturbed spot by the lake.
