Invernahavon Caravan Park

A beautiful, natural campsite. Good facilities. Warm and helpful welcome. Very big pitches. We had a grass pitch with electric. Stunning views towards mountains, and 4 horses in the field. We saw a red squirrel, deer in the distance, and so many birds. The Dawn chorus was amazing. We cycled on route 7 next to campsite, to The Highland Outdoor Folk Museum approx 4 miles away. Excellent. Free but def worth a donation. The river nearby is wide, shallow and beautiful. We were only here 2 nights and wish we could have stayed longer. Hope to come back one day.

We stayed in early May so just before peak season, not too busy. Good price at £18/night for 2 people. Very well cared for site with excellent toilets and showers. Location is also good with a cycle path leading to Newtonmore which has shops and museums, and a short drive to the Cairngorms. Worth mentioning that the hot water is INCREDIBLY hot, almost to the point of being hazardous.

Fabulous quiet spot. Good walks from campsite. Showers & facilities are superb & cleaned by lovely friendly staff. All staff were great, could not do enough for you. No TV signal, but free wi-fi on site if you must!
