Kampaoh El Palmar

Kampaoh exceeded our expectations. The tents were pretty, the mattress was very comfortable. We were surprised there's even a mini-fridge inside the tent where we could keep drinks and food cold, very helpful! The environment around the tents is great, with grass, trees, and lots of birds. There's a great green space to hang out around the pool. There's a lot of tents packed into a small space, but everyone has their own table to hang out in front of the tent. It's 15 min walking from the beach on a long straight road. We thought it was good value for the price. The only downsides... you should bring earplugs because at night it just takes one baby crying or someone snoring in the next tent to keep you awake. Also, the showers were strange, the water temperature jumps from freezing cold to boiling hot to freezing cold again, even if you leave the knobs in the same position. So it's difficult to take a comfortable shower. The service was good and friendly, we would return again.

Booked for 4 nights, but did not sleep properly. Looks fancy, but there is no bed, only a matras. There’s noice from people around and the street next to it, on top if there is wind you hear everything almost blown away. There is a little fridge which doesn’t work, on top there is only one fire in the kitchen, which is very small. The showers work from time to time. It is clean though and people are friendly.
