Luckford Wood Caravan and Camping Park

My partner and I came here really last minute for the Easter Bank holiday period and I wish we could stay longer. SUCH a peaceful campsite with friendly and helpful staff (Grant and Dave). The location was perfect (right near Durdle Door, Wareham and Lulworth Cove). The showers are clean and spacious (if you want hot showers, keep pressing the button so it doesn’t stop). There are even electric points in the ladies changing area. There are water points everywhere and you can hire a fire pit and two bags of wood which we did during our stay. Grant the owner is friendly, helpful and checks up on all the guests staying. We have a camper so didn’t require electric but it was very very well priced for how nice this area is. It’s tucked away from main roads and it’s very quiet. Thank you for our stay, we loved it! We will definitely come back and highly recommend! Emma and Tom

No or little hot water in the shower block, which also wasn't cleaned daily. Admittedly very few guests on site, but still... Nice location, good pitches, facilities otherwise good.

Myself and husband stayed here. The site is beautiful, big pitches, well kept. Lots of wild life around. The weather was beautiful. Close to lulworth cove and lots of walks. Grant is a character. Only thing that lets this place down is the lack of hot water, there is none for showering, washing up or washing your hands. At best you get a cup full of tepid water. Cleanliness could be better too. Mop in shower and toilets dirty and smelled awful. You could smell when the showers had been cleaned with the dirty mop!! Attention to detail with cleaning maybe use some bleach and some industrial mops and not vileda - not sure anyone has complied a BICsc course. Unsure why some lady would lock the showers, three of them off so she could shower. She must have something others don’t have - a bit inconsiderate.
