What a wonderful campsite in nature. The owner, Lionel, and his son Gustavo, made us feel so welcome and showed us a camping spot with lovely mountain views. Lionel, with his enthusiasm for the area and nature, gave us handy tips and encouraged us to explore the little town of Gouveia - what a nice surprise. The campsite had good facilities, nice hot showers and is perfectly located to use as base from which to explore the Serra de Estrela. If you love nature and serenity, this campsite is for you.

Stayed 4 nights and it was magical. The campsite is totally brilliant, can park up where you fancy with no restrictions and rules to follow. Amenities fantastic, with plenty of hot water for showering - what more do you need! Location fantastic, loads of hiking and running trails and glorious views whichever direction you go. The owner is wonderful, delivering to each visitor quality and personalisation in the nature and freedom the area offers. 5 stars does not rate this place enough - and the owner deserves a hundred stars. It is a wonderful place, made even more wonderful by the ethos of the owner, who made our stay even more magical. Best place we have stayed at and I wish all campsites would be the same.

Our days in this camp will be unforgetable. First of All the friendly and quiete owner Leonel and his family. Very friendly, helpful and he had always time to talk about the camp, the landscape around and about everything else. You can eat in the pub, drink a nice beer or wine and enjoy the fantastic view! The Pool is nice and clean, the showers and toilets are good enough for us and there is Sun or shadow, depends on where you choose your place. There is an extra place to watch the amazing!!!! sunsets and it is green all around. Nice place for Hiking, for little villages and for nature. Take you time and Visit this place. A peace of heaven, we will never forget. Hope one day we come back here! All the best for Leonel and his family
