Pwllyn Farm Camping

Myself and a friend appeared on a sunny bank holiday morning to stay at Pwllyn to get a couple of days hiking in. We were allowed to park our van anywhere in the fields. There was so much choice that we could pick our perfect view and location with lots of flat options to choose from. We found it very convenient for getting to our walks and a supermarket to buy ingredients for a mega-sandwich. Showers etc all clean and warm. Owners (and their dogs!) very friendly and plenty of lovely birds in the well stocked barn which has everything you could need. We stayed until Wednesday through the half term and it has been a true delight, partly due to the fact that they don’t allow under 14s. As a teacher, I love children, but it’s nice to get away from them every now and again. Will definitely be recommending to pals.

A great campsite to visit. The set up is very well thought out and although it was fully booked we were all very spread out so we’re able to camp in peace and still enjoy the scenery. The owners were very friendly and accommodating. The only downfall was the showers. The water was freezing cold which once they were made aware the managed to sort warm water out again but then the water cut out mid shower and there was no water at all. Not worth loosing a star though as everything else was spectacular. The honesty shop is such a good idea. If I didn’t bring so much stuff I totally would have made use of it. The only thing I would recommend to the owners is to add a mirror at the junction coming in and out as it’s very difficult coming out as unable to see what coming g from the left. Can’t wait to come stay again.

Easy to find as in the info email I got a what 3 words so just put that in and saved any faffing. Lots of space and different fields to choose from. Clean showers and loos. Excellent barn facilities with washing up places, cookers, the honestly shop and sofas/seats. It felt very safe as a first time solo traveller. I’ll definitely be returning when it opens again after winter :)
