Denny Wood Campsite

Very nice spot, in pure nature. Wild horses around. Cycling route passing over the campground. We had a lovely 3 night stay, with our 2 children (3 and 5) who really enjoyed a bit of cycling every morning and evening from the campground straight into the woods.

Great campsite, bang in the middle of the New Forrest park which means great views and wild animals. Had many a horse walk past while I was enjoying my breakfast! Site itself doesn't have a shower block, but has elsan, fresh water and bins. It's stated at the entry and on the website that if you don't have a chemical toilet you'll get turned away. The staff are friendly, access is easy, there's no low lying branches or anything, just the occasional gate and one speed bump. At the £8.50 for September single occupancy I can't complain 😊 Will be going back

What a beautiful peaceful place to stay despite being a busy bank holiday weekend with a lot of people on site. It still remained tranquil and restful as the forest is so lovely and the ponies an added bonus. The staff Michelle and Fiona couldn’t have been more helpful. The site has grey waste, toilet waste and fresh water facilities so you need to bring your own toilet but it was perfect for us
