We were not allowed to pay by (guaranteed with buyers protection) credit card or other kind of payment system. We got emails that we should just wire the payment to a bank account. This is very fishy, even when the booking.com support staff contacted the facility, they were making up a story about only using credit card payments for cancelled bookings. Which breaks their contract with booking.com. But they don’t care anymore, probably because of insolvency. After letting us changed our stay(number of people), we we required to reserve the largest room they have, and let us pay the full upgrade. But when we arrived, only the smallest was still available (even smaller/cheaper than our original booking). But they did not even bother to say sorry. I guess they just don’t give a **** anymore. When your end is near. Don’t book unless you are willing to take the risk having your holiday ruined.
